Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to several Malayalam films. In 2018, she won the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as the role of actress Savitri. The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy has the father of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her acting journey began in the early 2000s. She played her first major role on screen in Geethaanjali (2013) in a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film was not a success in the theater. Even though the film was not a success in the theaters the film she made her debut in is A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played opposite Vikramprabhu. Due to her busy schedule, in 2015 she could not choose but to pull out of films which she was already doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo and Remo in two films. Also, Dhanush and she played the lead roles for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. However, the film is being delayed from 2015 with speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. The debut film was Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast opposite Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan the film, which debuted on January 17, 2017. She also was in Tamil films like Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu movies Nenu Local.
